Note: The tutorial below is obsolete as of version 0.30.
We hope to bring back this functionality soon with a much improved plugin system. Thanks!

Remobo is currently bundled with VNC as the default remote control client... However, some of you may prefer to use Windows Remote Desktop, which is built-in to most current versions of Windows.
Here is a simple tutorial on how to get up and running with Windows Remote Desktop running on top of Remobo.
Windows Remote Desktop over Remobo
If you want to use Windows Remote Desktop directly from Remobo... just click the "Add a New Application" menu item from the apps panel as usual to add a new custom app and follow the directions below...
1) Enter the following as the name:
Remote Desktop
2) then, enter the following as the path:
MSTSC.exe
3) and, the following for the command line arguments:
/v:$ip
Now, you can launch the windows remote desktop client directly from Remobo by choosing it in your apps panel. Just remember to have the Remote Desktop server enabled and ready to go on the receiving side, since it runs as Windows service.
Here is a tutorial by Microsoft on setting up the receiving end.
This will help you easily run Remote Desktop over the Internet without any messy router or NAT configuration... and it will also add additional security and encryption to keep your connection safe.
