Remobo comes with an auto-login feature that is handy if you don't want to keep typing your username and password every time you login. However, you may want to disable this manually sometimes, especially if you are unable to login to change the settings.

Here's a guide on how to do this without needing to login.

Windows

The auto-login setting is stored in the registry, so you will have to edit it to disable the setting.

1) Launch the registry editor by going to the start menu, select "run" and type:

regedit

2) then, find the following path:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Remobo

3) and, clear out the following key so it is empty:

savepass

Now, when you launch Remobo, it should ask you for your password again.

MAC

The auto-login setting is stored in a preferences file owned by root, so you will have to edit it to disable the setting. (You will need admin privileges to do this)

1) Find the following file and open it with your favorite text editor :

/var/root/Library/Preferences/Remobo\ Preferences

2) then, find the following line:

savepass=<encrypted>

3) and, clear out the text so it is empty and just looks like this:

savepass=

Now, save the file and when you launch Remobo, it should ask you for your password again.
